Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties is a faith-based, nonprofit housing organization with 89 percent of funds coming from private donations. Residents of Pelican Landing and The Colony have sponsored 23 homes since 2002 for families in need in Bonita Springs. With very generous hearts, 593 Pelican Landing and The Colony Residents donated in fiscal year 2020-2021 alone! This is a testament to the dedicated and charitable residents of Pelican Landing and The Colony.
As the demand for affordable housing climbs in Bonita Springs and throughout Southwest Florida, our residents will continue to play a key role in providing homeownership opportunities and a lasting hand up the economic ladder for local families.
We invite everyone in Pelican Landing and The Colony to join us in support of Habitat for Humanity’s vision of a world where everyone can have a decent place to live. Please explore this site to learn more about what we are doing to accomplish this mission and how you can help.
